Swire Chinese Language Centre Edinburgh is excited to be presenting a PACTS Excel webinar Ready to Talk 好好谈谈: Conduct SQA Talking Performance with Confidence, a practical guide.

The aim of this online training is to prepare you to conduct your students’ Talking Performances in line with the requirements to ensure they fulfil their potential.

Please note that priority will be given to current NQTs and early career teachers of SQA Mandarin Chinese in schools.
The webinar will take place on  Friday 27th November: 3.30pm GMT

Celebrate Year of the 鼠 🐭 with tasty Chinese-style lunch on Tuesday 28 January 2020

Our catering team will be serving a Chinese themed menu, as part of our learning about the Chinese New Year. Other celebratory activities will take place in the Entrance Hall at lunchtime too.

Celebrate Chinese New Year with this special animated screening event, which will include a traditional lion dance and a short presentation on the traditions of Chinese New Year.

Abominable starts off in Shanghai, where a young Yeti is discovered by teenager Yi.  Keen to take him home, Yi and her two friends begin an epic journey to reunite the magical creature with his family in the Himalayas. But to do so, they must stay one step ahead of a wealthy financier and a determined zoologist who want to capture the beast for their own gain.
