In the spirit of collaboration and paying forward, SCLCE’s Programme for Advancing Chinese Teaching in Scotland (PACTS) provides professional development opportunities to graduates aspiring to become teachers of Chinese, student teachers (PGDE trainees) and early career teachers of Chinese across the country who wish to develop their skills and confidence as a teacher.

PACTS is delivered in a meaningful and engaging context by experienced GTCS-registered teachers of Chinese at SCLCE. This programme will help its participants make a positive impact in their classrooms and contribute to the sustainability of the Chinese language within the Scottish curriculum.

PACTS is a free programme funded by Swire Chinese Language Foundation.
